Hi Fred,
Would it be hard to implment a feature that would require users to upload an image for the first post only?
This would be saved into an uploads/img/ directory.

Hello,
This is not a matter of simplicity or not, just that if this feature would exist, it would only be for the administrator and moderators.
Otherwise look into a plugin, because I can not force a user to send an image ...
